If you’re looking for a way to showcase yourself as a creator, Buy Me a Coffee is a great platform to try out. We find it to be comparable to Patreon in terms of creating content, community, and monetizing your content behind a paywall or membership. While we only have brief experience with Patreon, we do find Buy Me a Coffee to be easier to use overall. Here are some things we like about the platform:

  • The dashboard is easy to use, bright, cheerful, and is growing and changing as the platform grows.

  • We liked how easy it is to add digital downloads, send messages (and email) to fans, and to have the membership aspects of content behind a paywall.

  • You can change “coffee” to other fun items such as a slice of pizza of donuts.

You can check it out here and if you signup, we earn a commission. Don’t worry though, we liked this tool before earning a commission was part of this post. As always, we only share tools we use or support.
